We had a wonderful Easter brunch with Dana's family. We hosted our first Easter on a very warm and beautiful spring day. Everyone enjoyed the sun's rays while sipping coffee on our Farmer's porch. When the yumminess filled out bellies, we all geared up for a "serious" game of Yahtzee! After much laughter and rolling dice, we all said our good byes. Dana and I carried on the celebrations with a wonderful hike in the woods. The sunlight poured in thru the boughs of the evergreens and we were showered with a vibrant clear blue sky. Houlton was excited to roam free to explore all the spring babes sprouting throughout the forest floor. It was refreshing to see the snow melting and all the buds of green! We headed home to welcome spring with our first family spring activity of planting pansies together. We hope to celebrate spring with a fun nature tradition every easter. This year we chose to plant purple pansies, even Houlton was in on the mess and fun! We ended the day with a good belly shot. Boy how you have grown miss, keep taking good care of yourself. We are excited to meet you!
